Tree farming!

Kind of discouraged today: recorded for three hours and it crashed on me, lost everything. I’m trying to do more interesting videos, but it’s hard. I think I’m going to end up having to just do more normal videos without the characters (for various reasons) but that makes me sad, and I think you can hear it in Applejack’s voice sometimes: she knows she’s not holding the interest of a lot of youtube viewers and cannot do her farm-pony dutiful hard worker thing and call it entertainment.

Please forgive her for that, in the event that she goes back to live with Rainbow Dash in the Trixieverse books and stops coming out for folks to see on youtube. It’s been a big challenge for her, and she’s happier in Ponyville. But she’s done a huge amount of hard, diligent work.

*stamps hooves in respectful pony applause*

Two more episodes after this, and then we’ll change it up in some way. The new stuff being done around Versus is pretty inspiring, and Applejack actually made that ranch house into a beautiful thing, though the showing-it-off footage will all have to be done over again.
